Dacre Park North
Frankham acted as Employer’s Agents and Cost Consultants for the design and build of five two bedroom houses for affordable rent.
The site was a former lock-up garage area situated between an existing residential council estate and private dwellings in Lewisham, London SE13. The works also comprised new off street parking and associated external works.
The works were procured under a Design & Build Contract 2011.
The homes were constructed with a timber frame on a raft foundation and achieved Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 and Secured by Design.
The works involved party wall issues due to the construction of the units adjacent to a large boundary wall. As part of the party wall award process, structural improvement works were undertaken to the wall to ensure its longevity.
