Advice to property owners and neighbours on the implications and requirement of the Party Wall Act etc. Act 1996 and acting as Named Surveyor completing the statutory duties and responsibilities required under The Act.

In advance of the full provisions of the Award applying we advise clients and designers more specifically on the statutory requirements and limitations imposed by the Act. The time and programme implications of the operation of the Act, including where appropriate advising on opportunities to mitigate the negative consequences of those requirements.

We act variously as the named Building Owners Surveyor,  Adjoining Owners Surveyor, Agreed Surveyor and Third Surveyor to administer all of the statutory duties imposed by the Act typically:-

• Preparation, service and acceptance of required Notices
• Inspections for and preparation of Schedules of Condition
• Preparation and agreement of Awards
• Monitoring of compliance with Award provisions
• Managing any rectification or further disputes that arise.
